The SPIRIT of the people does not derive from the battle of
special interest when they lie to us, as in most commercial,
political or otherwise.
The public good does not come from the
adversarial method which does not an effort to tell the truth.
Justice may survive the struggle of lawyers to bend the truth to
circumstance, but the universal social contract can not survive
our constitutional system. We are besieged by lies, damn lies,
and statistics.
The conversation between different but real forms
of the truth is the foundation of learning, and science but once
the seeker becomes the advocate, the truth is among the first
casualties.
The First Casket in a war is for the truth. A book about World
War I, told the story of how propaganda replaces reporting. Words
become weapons that increase the chances of winning. Blow-back is
when your own propaganda comes back as intelligence reports.
Reality gets all mixed up when winning is all that matters.
Materialism knows only part of the whole of reality. We are not
completely physical beings and do not live in a completely
concrete physical world.
There are paramount mysteries. Social
existence depends of the power of valid or at least operational
myths.
NOVUS ORDO SECLORUM it says on the dollar bill in your pocket,
under the Masonic seal, it also proclaims "In God we Trust".
Trust must mean the gods of the Federal Reserve System, since we
no longer have a silver or gold standard or an understanding of
GOD. A dollar bill is worth 10 cents internationally of it's 1960
value.
The value of the currency truly reflect the succession of
declines in the American Way of Life over the last 30 years. A
decline where the rot starts in the head. In decline, this is the
first generation worse off than their parents, in decline,
children are less educated, less moral, less socially active,
work less, save almost nothing, spends freely using plastic, has
35% of their children outside families, and has the highest jail
rate in the world, a decline where the infrastructure is at the
level of the third world ( visit London or Paris or Frankfort and
compare ), and our politics is about nothing - nothing of
spiritual importance and it doesn't matter who is elected because
the SYSTEM DOESN'T work except for the material interests of
special interests.
Logical positivism was the belief that anything of value could be
measured, and understood by objective reason.
The two sides of
war, politics, organizational theory, education, domestic and
foreign relations, public policy and democratic constitutional
republican government are material and spiritual. False beliefs
are blow-back, people caught up in their own lies, half truths,
and bending the truth in their all out desire to win. News become
entertainment and politics another amusement theme park.
ONE SIDE of reality is PRACTICAL: Who gets what, when, and how;
the material advantage gained by playing within ( or close to )
the RULES.
The attention to rules permit opposition and
competition rather than the complete destruction of enemies. This
game has a golden rule, "Those that have the gold, rule".
THE OTHER SIDE IS SPIRITUAL: Transcendence of individual self
into a greater whole, the VISION THING, THE SYNERGY THING, the
realms of awareness in contact with universals.
There are two
natures, the material and secular of winning and loosing, and the
other nature more speculative, intuitive, ethical, the good, the
true and the beautiful. All material rules have always flowed
from the other side of reality. QUALITY in relationships and
material goods is not tinsel placed on a Christmas tree but grows
from the roots of character. GREAT SOCIETIES, companies, schools,
people derive their character from connections to the dreamtime.

in two forms of time.
The regular world in which material things
are everything, and another realm that creates the LAWS, customs,
values of the everyday world.
The covenant is an understanding of
how material conflict and ambition fits into a strategy of
survival in a universe with it's own laws.
Carl Marx's was the modern founder of social MATERIALIST, logical
positivism theory. He knew that ideology follows from interests.
Different classes and groups have beliefs suited to their
conditions. Slaves believe in slavery ( Bethelhiem and Elkins ),
serfs believe in church and state that oppresses them, capitalist
believe in the divine mission of industrial power and wealth,
belief follows from position, Where you stand depends on WHERE
you sit.
The capitalist are just up-side down Marxist.
The same
kind of analysis but different conclusions.
The American System is based on divided power that leads to a
crass materialism. In Washington, there are over 2500 interest
groups in more than 50 major blocks, connecting to 40
congressional committees, and administravit agencies the
interests and committees have created.
The iron triangle involves
road building ( cement, construction equipment, auto's, gas, etc)
Public Education ( NEA, AFT, School Boards, Superintendents,
teacher colleges, publishers ), health providers and insurance,
defence contractors, chemical and clothing companies, banks and
airline, foreign governments and on and on and on.
The national
of spiritual interest of the nation are neglected as the
competition for material advantage takes over.
The SPIRIT of the people does not derive from the battle of
special interest.
