RE: Complex systems are counter-intuitive;
Gravitation as the chemistry of love, the soul of all existance,
the strange property of mutual attraction at a distance. Energy
forces are the essence of all bodies of matter. Matter is not a
too too solid mass but the result of interactions of four basic
drivers; gravitation, the strong and weak nuclear forces, and the
electromagnetic force. Attempts to unite these forces in one
grand Unified Field
Theory have not yet been successful, nor have
attempts to detect the gravitational waves.
Matter is energy existing within the constraints of interacting
force fields. Gravitation makes the reality as we perceive "the
real".
These mysterious forces formed the atoms from pure energy
after the big bang, made stars from the atoms in consolidated
gases, the forces are the means that hold the solar system
together, commands the creation of planets, fashions our home,
our bodies, and is the stuff of which dreams are made. Our
body/minds perceive reality in ways useful to evolution on this
planet, our perception of reality is a ghost in the machine, not
the objective world we think and believe exists. Rather than say
matter has the properties of the four types of energy fields, it
is more authentic to conceive of the forces as taking on the
matrix of energy bonds that appear to us as solid matter. Matter
is a grand illusion created by the form of our conscious
awareness.
There are other ways of knowing, seeing, feeling, more
in harmony with universal "reality" than the specialized process
of awareness shaped by the history of people's cultural survival
on the planet earth.
The welfare of every tribe, nation, or people depends on the
common shared "illusion" of how things work and the way it ought
to be, starting with the creation myth, and their understanding
of being. But each belief system is only a special case.
Leadership, is a further vision. Leadership is the realization
beyond the limits of the special case, the box of culture, the
corporate climate, in the ways of this world, and in seeing
beyond what is now done, creates conflict.
The culture, or
company either builds systems of change based on conflict, the
vision quest or can not adjust to changes in the environment and
dies.
The book "
The Death and Rebirth of the Seneca" by Tony
Wallace tell's one such story of the vision of Handsome Lake.
The
film "
The Last Wave" by Peter Weir tells of what happens to
tribal people in a new industrial environment and their struggle
to hold on to the "dreamtime".
The US Congress, President, the
Media, Apple, Word Perfect, Novell, IBM, DEC, every school,
business and culture has this core problem of growing from the
inside out, or dying from the outside shell inward to the silence
of the heart and mind and soul.
If we can stretch or body/mind to the realization that what we
think, feel, believe is only a special case. Even millions of
people over thousands of years create a reality that is only a
special case, not our reality, but the Chinese world view, or the
Western Attitude, or the Religious passion, material or
spiritual, only a limited and distorted view because that is the
way we are physically made. We are made to process information in
ways that have been useful in the process of evolution, within a
variety of environments. Societies, beliefs, customs, traditions,
technologies, social structures, political arrangements, all have
some survival potential or they would not be here. We now face
these changes in DOG YEARS. It's time to change or die a lot
faster. We know how to open the body/mind to a wider viewpont.
